ICSK JUNIOR CONDUCTS CCA COMPETITIONS FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER 2016



ICSK Junior organized Hindi Recitation Competition for class 1 on Monday 12.12.2016, to foster communication and interactive skills among students. The participation of students was commendable, overwhelming and impressive. Reading through books is not the only medium of learning. Fun filled activities and competitions enhance the learning process taught within the confines of classroom. The competition was conducted to develop the confidence level, improve vocabulary and help students to get rid of performing fear.

It was a very enriching experience for the spectators and enjoyable time for the participants. For class II and III Hindi Handwriting Competition was conducted for students. The students were judged on the basis of neatness, formation and spacing of the text. All the students participated enthusiastically. They put their best foot forward and wrote in very neat handwriting. The competition brought out the talent and creativity of the students.

On Tuesday 13th December 2016, students of class IV and V were engaged in the activity of making season's greeting card. On Thursday 15th December 2016, students of Class VI were engaged in the activity of draw and decorate Christmas tree. The students used their warm colourful drawing, created their own inner self belief and expressed their feelings, emotions in making season's greeting card and in decorating Christmas tree. The innovative activity promoted students to develop positive and healthy mental pathway, which they will carry through life. The activity was an excellent exposure to students, inspiring them in their self confidence and self acceptance. The response of participants in this activity is much appreciated.
