CBSE APPOINTS ICSK PRINCIPAL DR. V. BINUMON FOR POST-RESULT COUNSELLING



Dr. V Binumon, the Principal of the Indian Community School Kuwait had been appointed earlier this year as a counsellor for Kuwait region, as part of the CBSE annual pre-examination counselling. He will be providing the post-result CBSE annual counselling as well from 28th May to 11th June 2017. The voluntary, free of cost counselling, being provided by CBSE for the 20th consecutive year, would continue till June 11 daily from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. CBSE provides post-result counselling to students and parents to overcome common psychological problems and address general queries related to Class 10 and 12 results. Binumon is a multi-faceted personality with long expertise and experience as an Education Counsellor and is sensitive to the needs of students. He has also undergone certificate courses in diverse areas such as Neuro Linguistic Programming and Hypnotherapy.

The CBSE counselling is an outreach programme which is carefully designed keeping the heterogeneity of student's population and geographical spread. CBSE Tele counselling is largely offered by trained counsellors and Principals from within CBSE affiliated schools located in India and outside India. It is a voluntary and free of cost service provided by the participants.During the 2nd Phase, 65 expert volunteers including Principals, trained counsellors, and special educators from CBSE affiliated government and private schools and psychologists will be available for Tele-Counselling.Out of these, 47 are from India including 2 special educators, while 18 experts are located in Nepal, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Al-Khobar, Jeddah), Sultanate of Oman, UAE (Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al-Khaimah), Kuwait, Singapore and Qatar.
