The students of ICSK Junior celebrated Kuwait National Day and Liberation Day on 19th, 20th and 21st February 2018 by decorating the corridors and classrooms.
Kindergarten children came to school in Kuwait National dress with matching accessories like Kuwait flag coloured head band, bangles, shoes, etc. Special assemblies were conducted that started with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran which was followed by the school prayer.
The students talked about the significance of these days in the history of Kuwait. The Kuwait flag was hoisted by our beloved Principal, Mrs. Sherly and Vice Principal, Mrs. Sheeja with Kuwait National Anthem and marked the beginning of the celebrations. A melodious song was presented by the students. A thematic thought was shared and a dance was performance by the students who dressed beautifully in the colours of Kuwait flag was the highlight of the show. A skit was performed by the little children displaying landmarks of Kuwait. Principal and Vice Principal Mrs. Sheeja addressed the assembly. They praised the students and teachers who conducted the assembly in a grand manner.

The Indian Community School was established on the 5th May, 1959. The school, since its inception, has been rendering yeoman service to the Indian Diaspora by providing excellent education exclusively for Indian children.
