The Indian Community School, Kuwait – Amman Branch organized a series of creative competitions during the month of April, bringing together students from different grade levels to celebrate the Al Arfaj flower, Kuwait’s national flower and a symbol of unity, resilience and appreciation for the nation’s rich natural heritage.
As part of the initiative, the school conducted the ‘My Kuwait – Video Making Competition’ for students of Classes X to XII and the ‘My Kuwait – Message Card-Making Competition’ for students of Classes VI to IX. Both competitions were organized under the inspiring theme, ‘One Country, One People, One Heart – We Are Kuwait’.
The Al Arfaj flower served as the central inspiration for both competitions. Its significance as a symbol of strength, resilience and gratitude towards the nation was beautifully reflected in the creative expressions of the students.
Despite the challenges of online learning, students participated with remarkable enthusiasm and dedication. The video-making competition showcased impressive digital creativity, storytelling abilities and technical skills, as students expressed their love, respect and connection to Kuwait through meaningful visual presentations.
The message card-making competition also received an enthusiastic response, with students demonstrating imagination, artistic talent and a strong cultural connection through their creative works. Each entry reflected the spirit of unity and appreciation for Kuwait and its values.
Both competitions provided students with a meaningful platform to express their creativity while strengthening their sense of belonging and deepening their understanding of Kuwait’s culture and heritage. The initiative successfully brought young minds together in a heartfelt celebration of unity, gratitude and patriotism.
The event once again reflected ICSK Amman’s commitment to nurturing creativity, cultural awareness and emotional expression among students, while encouraging them to appreciate and celebrate the values that unite the diverse community of Kuwait.
