CREANTE – A Kaleidoscope of Creativity @ICSK Junior
The Indian Community School Kuwait - Junior took immense pride and joy in organizing ‘Creante -
The Creative Corner’, a vibrant school exhibition on 14th November 2024. This event showcased
the boundless creativity and talent of students from LKG to Grade 6, who presented an array of
artistic and captivating exhibits. ‘Creante’ served as an excellent platform for students to exhibit
their knowledge, innovation, and artistic flair, encompassing all subjects taught in the school
curriculum.
The stage and entrance radiated vibrancy, adorned with colorful cutouts of butterflies and flowers,
perfectly reflecting the charm of our young stars. The striking mascot, paired with the glittering
letters spelling CREANTE, added an awe-inspiring touch. This thoughtful and artistic decor set the
tone for an enchanting inauguration, leaving everyone captivated by its brilliance.
The initiative to empower students with such a remarkable platform was driven by the visionary
leadership of the Principal, Mrs. C. Sheeja, an exemplary role model celebrated for her progressive
and inspiring approach. In her address, she commended the sincerity and dedication of the entire
team, emphasizing the importance of nurturing children through diverse activities beyond
academics. With heartfelt gratitude, she acknowledged the unwavering support of parents,
recognizing it as a cornerstone of this grand success, and reiterated her commitment to fostering
holistic growth among students.
In his address, the Chief Guest, Dr. Muzammil Mustafa Mugloo, commended the remarkable scale
and quality of the presentation. He hailed the exhibition as a platform where young minds could
let their ideas flourish and acknowledged the tremendous effort invested by students, staff, and
management. He emphasized that such opportunities are vital for nurturing creativity and
innovation among children. He also highlighted the fact that reading should be taken up by the
kids seriously to access personal growth.
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, Chief Guest, Dr. Muzammil Mustafa Mugloo, a
Neonatologist, Honorary Chairman to the Board of Trustees- Mr. Shaik Abdul Rahiman, Honorary
Secretary to the Board of Trustees- Mr. Amer Mohammed and the Director of ISEK, Mrs. Sherly
Dennis. Their esteemed presence amplified the grandeur of the occasion, infusing it with
inspiration and admiration. With heartfelt words, they celebrated the participants’ creativity and
commended their remarkable efforts, leaving a lasting impression of encouragement and pride
that fueled the spirit of innovation and excellence among all.
The lively and dynamic spirit of ‘Creante’ was detectable as visitors stepped into the school
premises. Each classroom transformed into a hub of creativity, showcasing a wide array of
working models, still models, charts, and other exhibits that were both imaginative and visually
striking.
The surprise elements—a thrilling flash mob set the ground ablaze, while a dynamic karate
performance left the audience in awe. Energy surged through the crowd as each act delivered an
electrifying punch.
The kindergarten section stole the spotlight with their imaginative underwater aquarium theme,
transporting the audience into a vibrant marine world filled with beautiful mermaids, enchanting
everyone present. The graceful mermaids, with their shimmering tails and enchanting presence,
brought a magical touch to the underwater spectacle.
The English Department crafted a visually captivating display, featuring attractions from
Paralympics 2024 such as a vocabulary world, a selfie corner, and a delightful puppet show that
mesmerized visitors.
Adding vibrancy to the event, the Hindi Department showcased India’s rich literary heritage and
the charm of village and town life, offering a colorful portrayal of tradition and culture. The
inspiring life journey of India's renowned philanthropist, Mr. Ratan Tata, was portrayed with
remarkable brilliance, highlighting his dedication to nation-building and exemplary leadership.
The Social Science and KSS exhibits offered a dynamic glimpse into significant historical events,
presenting culture, customs, traditions, and the culinary diversity of India and Kuwait. The
Mathematics Department turned numbers into magic, connecting mathematical concepts to
everyday life with striking and innovative models.
The Science Department wowed visitors with their spectacular working and non working models,
each adding to the students' curiosity and creativity. Equally impressive, the Arabic and Islamic
Department showcased exquisite Arabic calligraphy, vocabulary, and depictions of historical
milestones, leaving a lasting impression.
Meanwhile, the Computer Department impressed with their educative and informative models
and charts that reflected the role of technology in modern life.
The art showcased a burst of vibrant colors, captivating viewers with its dazzling collection of
drawings and paintings. Each piece radiated energy and life, celebrating creativity in its purest
form. Together, they created a mesmerizing display of artistic exuberance.
There was a special arrangement for Music in which the performers captivated the audience with
their soulful melodies, weaving an enchanting atmosphere that resonated with joy and harmony.
Their performances added a rhythmic charm, leaving everyone spellbound and elevating the event
to a symphony of delight.
The overwhelming response from parents, special invitees, and well-wishers was a true morale
booster for everyone involved. Engaging activities like games and crossword puzzles added a layer
of entertainment, ensuring a lively atmosphere throughout. The exhibition was not just an
academic event but a celebration of learning, creativity, and fun that motivated students to put
forth their very best.
The grand success of ‘Creante’ reaffirmed that learning can be an exciting and joyful journey. It
was a spectacular show, where the innovative ideas of young minds shone brightly, leaving an
indelible mark on all who attended.
