Age requirement 

The age requirements for admission for the academic year 2024-25 are as follows: 

• Registration for admission for classes VI-IX &XI starts in the month of October for the ensuing academic year commencing from April. 
• Registration for admission to be done by clicking the link “Admissions” given in the main menu in the opening page of the school website. 
• Registration form to be downloaded from school website and the filled in form to be submitted to the school. 
• Date of Interaction for the child along with Parents are intimated on the day of submission of registration form. 
• Admission test will be conducted for all classes and the day/date of the test will be intimated by the school office. 
• List of selected students will be displayed after interaction and they are given dates to collect admission files. 
• Admission file duly filled in and supported by relevant documents and fees must be submitted to the school office on the given date.

  • Three passport size photographs of the student. 
  • Photocopies of the passport of the student, father and mother with valid residence page 
  • Copies of Civil-id of student, father and mother. 
  • Copy of the Birth Certificate of the student (whether born in India or Kuwait). 
  • A valid Transfer Certificate from the previous school duly attested and counter signed by the competent authority(for classes II to VI)
     

The originals of the above documents also must be produced at the time of admission which will be returned after verification.

• Mere registration / collecting an admission file from the school does not guarantee admission
• Admission to Class XI and allotment of streams and subjects are done on the basis of Examination Grades of Class X and the performance in admission tests. All students intending to join Class XI must seek fresh admission.

• The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education and is recognized by the Ministry of Education, State of Kuwait. The medium of instruction is English and the second language for all classes up to VIII is Hindi. Arabic is the third language up to class VIII. Students can opt for French or Hindi in class IX and X. In classes XI and XII three streams are offered - Commerce, Science and Humanities. The Syllabus for classes VI to XII is according to the guidelines laid down by the NCERT, with classes IX to XII following NCERT books. Physical Education, Art, Music and Work Experience are an essential part of the curriculum.
   
• We have adopted the new Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation programme of the CBSE. It has brought out a major and a welcome change in the assessment of classes VI to X. Rote learning and memorization has been replaced by emphasis on thinking skills and the continuous growth of students. CCE focuses on the holistic assessment of a learner which includes both scholastic and co-scholastic areas of learner growth with particular reference to attributes such as life skills, attitudes and values, sports and games as well as co-curricular activities. It means interactive teaching, regularity of assessment, frequency of unit testing, diagnosis of learning gaps, use of corrective measures, retesting and feedback of evidence to teachers and students for their self evaluation.

The school follows 2 semesters in one academic year.

The fees charged by ICSK are set in accordance with Kuwait Ministry of Education (MOE) regulations and are subject to changes. The school fee once paid is not refundable. 

Transport Fee 

The use of school transport is a privilege and not a right.

One month’s notice should be given or one month’s fee will be charged in lieu of notice for discontinuing transport facilities suddenly. The transport facility can be cancelled only after paying the outstanding transport fee amount (if any). 

A student using the school bus facility will have to behave in a disciplined manner in the buses, failing which bus facilities will be withdrawn without any notice. 

The school will recover the cost of repairs of any damage caused to the bus by any student. 

Bus facilities are extended to students on the existing routes and bus stops only. Complaints from parents if any, regarding the school transport should be handed over to the Principal in writing. No parent or student will be allowed to deal with the driver directly for any complaint. 

No student should lean out of the bus window or put his/her head out under any circumstances. 

Transport rules will be modified by the school management at any time. Any bus route may be cancelled if it is found to be uneconomical. 

The school management will not be held responsible for any accident or injury caused to any student or member of the staff while using the school transport.

     2. Beige coloured Trousers for Boys & Beige coloured Pinafore for Girls. 

     3. School Belt, Beige colour socks with Maroon tipping and Maroon Tie with School Logo. 

     4. Maroon Blazer (for Boys and Girls with school logo in the winter). 

     5. Black Shoes. 

Class XI & XII 

    1. Full Sleeved White Shirt with Blue Stripes. 

    2. Navy Blue Trousers. 

    3. School Belt, Navy Blue coloured socks with white tipping & Navy Blue Tie with School Logo. 

    4. Navy Blue Blazer with School Logo. 

    5. Black Shoes. 

• Girls are permitted to wear head scarfs.
