The CBSE conducts training programs for teachers and principals at regular intervals to enhance their understanding of curriculum, teaching methods, and professional skills. However, CBSE schools in the Middle East faced challenges accessing offline training sessions due to the board's headquarters being in India. With the assistance and cooperation of CBSE, 3-day training sessions from 22nd March 2024 to 24 March 2024 was successfully conducted for educators from 24 CBSE-affiliated schools in Kuwait.
The eagerly anticipated training program, organized by CBSE, was inaugurated at the Indian Community School, Kuwait on 22nd March, 2024. With a focus on continuous professional development, the training sessions aimed to empower educators with the latest teaching methodologies and educational practices. A highlight of the program was the selection of 120 educators with exemplary presentation skills from various CBSE schools in Kuwait. The selected individuals were appointed as master trainers and mentors, tasked with disseminating the knowledge gained from the program to their peers and students, thus ensuring widespread benefits across the educational landscape.
The inaugural ceremony at The Indian Community School on 22nd March 2024 was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest Dr. Diwakara V. Chaluvaiah, President of the Indian Doctors' Forum Kuwait and Guest of Honour, Dr. Manjeet Singh, Deputy Secretary (Academics and Sports), CBSE. Eminent educators and resource persons Shri Rajeev Kumar, Principal of Datta Meghe World Academy, Navi Mumbai, and Shri Rajiv Mohan Pandey, Principal of Rosy Public School, Shahajanpur added to the prestige of the event, setting the tone for an enriching experience. Among the dignitaries were Ms. Sabahat Khan, Principal of Kuwait Indian School and Kuwait Chapter Convenor of CBSE Gulf Sahodaya, Dr. V. Binumon, Principal & Senior Administrator of ICSK & Chairman of CBSE Gulf Sahodaya; and esteemed Principals from renowned CBSE schools in Kuwait.
