Children’s Day at ICSK Junior celebrates the magic of childhood and the promise of a
brighter tomorrow.
ICSK Junior celebrated Children’s Day with enthusiasm and energy, honoring the birth anniversary of India’s
first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The day was a heartwarming tribute by the teachers to their
beloved students, showcasing their affection and admiration.
The teachers reported to school early in the morning to welcome the children with open arms. Parents too
were highly delighted viewing the enthusiasm of the teachers and were seen clicking pictures. The exterior
and interior of the school was decorated with colourful balloons, adding beauty all over.
A special assembly was conducted that began with a serene recitation of Quranic verses, followed by a
soulful prayer song. Teachers inspired students with motivational thoughts in both English and Hindi,
setting the tone for a memorable celebration.
A captivating medley of songs, performed by the talented teaching faculty, mesmerized the young
audience. Adding to the excitement was a hilarious skit that had everyone in fits of laughter, incorporated
with a fashion show. The energy peaked with a spectacular dance performance led by all the teachers. A
surprise act by the Arabic teachers left the students awestruck, adding a delightful twist to the program.
The highlight of the day was the arrival of Chacha Nehru, portrayed by the beloved teacher Mr. Sharif Kazi.
Dressed as Jawaharlal Nehru, he charmed the students with his thoughtful address, spreading joy and
embodying Nehru's enduring love for children.
A little star took center stage, pretending to be the principal! With a sober expression and confident voice,
she spoke just like a real leader—focused, flawless and full of authority. It was a tiny but mighty
performance!
Principal Mrs. Sheeja appreciated the show put up by the teachers with an inspiring address, encouraging
students to embrace kindness, curiosity and hard work. She reminded them to cherish their childhood
while striving for excellence and wished each child a joyful, memorable day filled with learning and growth.
The assembly concluded with the students taking the pledge, marking the end of an unforgettable
celebration filled with love, laughter, and immense excitement. Truly, ICSK Junior made Children’s Day a
remarkable experience for all!
