The Indian Community School, Senior hosted the "It’s My Business" activity for 9th-grade students on 13th October 2024. This workshop, organized in collaboration with Injaz aimed to introduce the students to basic business concepts while encouraging creative thinking through interactive activities. The activity was hosted by Ms. Reyouf from Injaz. A total of 118 students participated, divided into ten teams.
The session emphasized fostering critical and innovative thinking among students by using real-life scenarios. Through various activities, including brainstorming sessions, students were able to develop business ideas and collaborate effectively within their teams.
One of the highlights was the "Pitching Your Idea" session, where each group prepared and presented short pitches outlining their business concepts, including their purpose and operational details. Following the presentations, a question - answer session allowed peers to provide constructive feedback and engage in discussions about the various ideas.
The competition concluded with awards for the top three teams: Team 7 secured first place, Team 9 took second, and Team 3 secured the third place, with each team receiving medals for their achievements.
The recognition of the top teams not only celebrated their achievements but also motivated all participants to strive for excellence. This workshop underscored the significance of experiential learning in developing the skills necessary for future success in a rapidly changing business landscape.
